He exhibited at the Maison de la Culture in Tiznit, with a catalogue tracing the evolution of his work.

The self in motion

Twice interrupted, his painting each time revealed a different man. Neither strictly figurative nor abstract, though both modes appear, it translates an inner vision, sometimes dreamlike. As the critic Valérie Lafont noted, his palette has grown richer over time, the final period showing a painter more open to the world, after winding paths towards a lighter thought.

Landmarks

Exhibition at the Maison de la Culture, Tiznit, with catalogue

Three periods of painting

Do you own a work by Aomar Ajbour?

The gallery can examine it: request a valuation or consign it for sale at ARTWORKS in Casablanca.
