About El Batoul Bargach
El Batoul Bargach paints the Moroccan heritage she grew up with: architecture, medinas, monuments, landscapes and the artisans she passed on her way to school. The pebbles of the Rabat shore, changing colour in the evening light, are a recurring subject.
She trained through an art course in Strasbourg, glass-painting classes at the Chinese embassy, lessons with Ludmila Jabor at the Russian Cultural Centre, and as a student of Abdeslam Karmadi. Since her first exhibition at the Salle Allal El Fassi in 2000, she has exhibited in Rabat, Fès, Casablanca, Tétouan, Marrakech, Meknès and Agadir, as well as in Spain and France. She is also a teacher and coach.
