ARTWORKS is the gallery of Moroccan Paintings in Casablanca, on Avenue Ahmed Charci in the Bourgogne district. It is the place where the online collection becomes physical: original paintings by Moroccan artists, exhibitions, painting workshops and a fine-art supplies corner, under one roof and open every day of the week.
Collectors come here to see a work in person before buying it, to have a painting they already own examined, or simply to talk about Moroccan art with people who live with it every day.
Buying a painting in Casablanca
The gallery shows original works by established and emerging Moroccan painters, from modern masters to the contemporary scene. Among the artists whose works are offered through ARTWORKS: Abdelkarim El Azhar, Mohamed Jaamati, Hassan Hachchane, Maati Sabri, Mehdi Qotbi, Fatna Gbouri, Chouaib Chkairi and Abdellah Azz. Services for collectors
- Private viewing: a selection prepared in advance around an artist, a budget or a space. See collecting Moroccan art.
- Finding a work: we look for a specific artist or piece for you. Submit a search request.
- Valuation and resale: bring or send a painting you own for an opinion on its value, or consign it for sale.
- Authenticity: every work is physically examined before it is offered. A living artist’s work is confirmed with the artist; a deceased artist’s work requires a certificate and provenance documents. Our authenticity process.
- Framing: advice on frames suited to the work and your interior. Framing.
- Projects: works for villas, hotels, offices and riads, with architects and interior designers. Art for your projects.
Painting workshops and art supplies
The gallery is also a place to paint. Painting workshops are led by the artist Chouaib Chkairi for adults and children from ten years old, with materials included. Painters will also find paints, brushes, papers and canvases at the gallery and in our art supplies shop.
Delivery and payment
Works bought at the gallery or online are delivered within 48 hours in Casablanca and Rabat, in 3 to 4 days elsewhere in Morocco, and abroad on quotation. Payment by cash on delivery, bank transfer or cheque.

Do I need an appointment?
No, the gallery is open Monday to Friday 10:00–20:00, Saturday 10:00–18:00 and Sunday 11:00–14:00. For a private viewing or to see a particular work, book ahead so it is ready for you.
Can I sell or have a painting valued?
Yes. Send clear photos of the front and back with what you know of its origin, or bring it to the gallery. Sell or value an artwork.
