Lahcen Boukhalifi
Born in Boumia in 1973, Lahcen Boukhalifi has been passionate about painting since childhood and studied visual arts for three years from 1995. He has developed a highly personal style, working with spatula, knife and natural pigments to render typically Moroccan architecture: old doors, medina alleys, natural landscapes, fantasia and the many charms of the country.

His figurative style, touched by expressionism and abstraction, is dedicated to his native land and to a culture rooted in history.
