Painter
Miloudi Nouiga
Miloudi Nouiga is a Moroccan painter based in Rabat, known for his watercolours and as a comic-book author and publisher. One of his series draws on popular books of magic he collected in the medinas of Morocco: ancestral, traditional signs are stripped of their meaning to build an imaginary script. Each canvas is an unusual adventure, another time projected into the artist's present.
