Career
Born in Marrakech on 20 April 1984, Abdelkader Bergari, who signs Bergari, is a painter, draughtsman and sculptor as well as an interior designer. He began his career in sculpture and design in Spain, with a large decoration company in Zaragoza, before returning to Morocco to found his own design studio.
An act of memory
For Bergari, contemporary art is not a cold equation but an act of memory, in which the mind gives access only to fragments of memories and impressions whose details escape us. Matter, surface, texture and waves of colour invite the viewer on a journey between the real and the imaginary, and send each person back to their own feelings.
