About Aicha Hjiej
A graduate of the Casablanca School of Fine Arts (1986), Aicha Hjiej has explored many techniques, including silk painting and stained glass. She was a pioneer of cake design in Morocco and spent five years creating resin pieces.
Today she works in fluid art, an abstract practice in acrylic. Her paintings seek to capture the fleeting movement of forms and colours, inviting the viewer into a world of emotion and flow.
