About Aziz Nadi
Aziz Nadi paints dreamlike worlds peopled with faces of women, birds and angels, set against starry nights or flowering, plant-filled backgrounds. He names Klimt, Miró and Saladi among his influences, combining colourful abstraction, figurative sense and a strong dreamlike quality.
He mixes acrylic, stained-glass-like outlines, charcoal, pastel and collage. His exhibitions « Corps et âme » (2004), « Vagues à l'âme » (2009) and « Voyages de l'âme » trace a consistent search for light and inner life.
