Painter
M’hamed Boussaboune
Born in 1963 in Talioune, in the Taroudant region, M'hamed Boussaboune is a self-taught painter. He was discovered in 1995 by the painter Albert Pilot, who advised, guided and supported him from his first steps on the Moroccan art scene.
The artist
After years of dedicated work, he has become one of the most representative painters of his generation, and his paintings are sought after by collectors. He depicts Morocco's architectural and artistic heritage and the light and colours of its most enchanting sites, with an increasingly refined, shimmering palette, never tipping into the futile or the gratuitous.
