Youssef Lamima
Born in Marrakech on 24 April 1980 to a family from Essaouira, Youssef Lamima has been passionate about painting since childhood. His love of art began watching his grandfather, a potter, shaping clay into beautiful objects. He first painted on wood before moving to canvas, and believes that art reveals what does not reveal itself, expressing the depth of our humanity better than anything else.
The artist
Self-taught, he draws inspiration from nature, vast spaces and mountains, whose colours mirror states of mind. His painting is richly coloured, peopled with figures of varied forms. Beyond the canvas, his love of pottery and wood endures, and he still paints on them from time to time.

Each work may be reserved from its page via WhatsApp, or viewed beforehand at ARTWORKS, our gallery in Casablanca (Luxoria n°5, Avenue Ahmed Charci), during a private viewing by appointment.

Yes: within 48 hours in Casablanca and Rabat, three to four days elsewhere in Morocco; international shipping is quoted on request. Payment is made on delivery, by bank transfer or by cheque.
