Abdelfattah Akkour

The artist
Career
Born in 1946, Abdelfattah Akkour was an engineer with the OCP group when his passion for art led him to three years of study at the French centre for art history. He then turned to figurative painting and joined the studio of the academic painter Silver Néjade, where he learned glazing and underpainting. He has exhibited in Morocco since 1979.
A return with a new touch
For family reasons he set his passion aside for almost fifteen years, before returning with a new style and an original touch. He is known for the originality of his work and for his pastel palette.
