The artist
Career
Born in Tetouan in 1967, Adil Rabih graduated from the National School of Fine Arts in Tetouan and the Faculty of Fine Arts in Granada, and holds a master’s degree in cultural management from the University of Seville. He was in residence at the Cité internationale des arts in Paris and has exhibited since 1990. He works at the National Institute of Fine Arts in Tetouan, where he lives.
Colour and fragment
His abstraction, in light and fauve colours, juxtaposes bands and geometric forms that can give an impression of fragmentation, as if memory were made of pieces. Rabih is also a photographer, drawn above all to flowers in full bloom.
