The artist
Career
Born in Marrakech in 1968, Ahmed Haizoune comes from a family of Oulmès, in the Middle Atlas, that raised horses; he began drawing them very early. He graduated from the School of Fine Arts in Tetouan, then went to Italy to complete his training. He works between Morocco and Italy, where he has exhibited many times in respected galleries.

Drawn from a lifelong familiarity with the animal, his horses carry movement, strength and elegance, the memory of the Middle Atlas meeting a European training.
