Trained at the Casablanca School in its formative years, then in Paris and Brussels, Brahim Sadouk belongs to the generation of Moroccan painters shaped between the two shores of the Mediterranean.

Career
Born in Casablanca in 1948, Brahim Sadouk attended the city’s École des Beaux-Arts from 1967 to 1970, the years when it was becoming the laboratory of modern Moroccan art. He continued his studies in Paris, at the École nationale supérieure des Beaux-Arts, and in Brussels, at the École nationale supérieure des arts visuels de La Cambre, from 1970 to 1978. His first exhibition was held in Casablanca in 1970. He lives and works in France.

His long European training, after the formative experience of the Casablanca school, places his work at the meeting point of Moroccan modernity and the European art scene.
